I installed all/most of the lighting last night and pulled electrical to each spot. This is a very laborious process. I was working well past dark. But I think it looks good this year. Now all I need to do is add all the details and do some refinement.
I hope the rain does not hinder finalizing the decorations.

I had to make a new ghost for my Flying Crank Ghost. Could not find last years. I need to work on the head more it is not glowing.
This year I will only be decorating the porch. Here is the beginning.
Since I have no walls this year to hang decorations on I decided to make some pedestals. Here they are with a first coat of paint. I will dress them up with small skeletons, skull, spiders and such when the second coat of paint is dry.
Cheddar Potato Soup, Corn Bread with Bacon, and *Golden Monkey Tea.
* No monkey's were harmed in the making of this tea.
I made this for supper tonight. It is modified recipe of Curried Chicken and Rice. I used Kroger Brown Rice, Boil-In-Bag and less curry, red pepper and chilly powder. I enjoyed it very much. Rest of the family not too much. They don't like spicy food. That's why I cut down on the spices. But it was still to spicy for them.

We had to put Izzy down today. He was not going to recover and he was suffering. I will miss him greatly.
Sunday afternoon I was working on taking down the rest of my Halloween decorations. I noticed some of it was getting worn out. I was thinking to myself that I am 75% percent sure my Halloween activities will never be this way again. They are getting old and I am not sure I want to replace them. I have been thinking about scaling back.
Then about 2:30pm the emergency sirens went off. Most times I just ignore them. This time I had a bad feeling. I packed up my tools, grabbed my ipad and went to the basement. I was checking the weather on my ipad when the power went out.
At a little after 3:00pm we came up from the basement and I was 100% sure Halloween would never be the same. The walls of the crypt were destroyed. The flag pole and the flagpole demon were on the ground. I had hoped to keep the Crypt and retire most of the rest of the large decorations.
We did not get our power back until over 24 hours later. The following pictures are of the remains of the Crypt and some of the many trees than went down in my neiborhood.
We were very lucky. Thing could have been much worse. There much more severe damage on all sides of us.
